We offer one-off sessions and short courses
introducing meditation in the workplace, which is useful for stress
management and personal development.
More and more companies are choosing
to support the development of their employees beyond the specific
work skills arena. Not only is the quality of life and well-being
of staff important for its own sake, but it also impacts on
the quality of work and company performance.
Why meditate?
Meditation is becoming increasingly popular in the West as people
discover its benefits. Learning
to meditate can help us to:
- relax
- manage stress levels
- understand ourselves better
- get on better with the people around us and
- bring a healthier balance to a life that feels too full.
With greater awareness, we make better
choices in our day-to-day life. Anyone who is willing to set
aside a little time regularly can develop a meditation practice.
You don’t have to be ‘religious’ to meditate.
What is meditation?
Meditation is a practice or method that
leads to a calmer state of mind. This may mean paying attention
to our breathing or consciously developing a more positive attitude
towards oneself and others. The methods are simple. All that
is needed is the willingness to engage with the practice.
Why learn to meditate at work?
Work is often the place where there is
lot to do and not enough time to do it! Learning to meditate
along with colleagues not only enhances the quality of our experience,
but can contribute to a more friendly and focussed atmosphere
in the workplace.
What can
we do for you?
We can come to your premises and teach meditation to you and
your staff. You might choose to book us for a five week lunchtime
or after-work course, or we can come in for a team training
session for a whole or half day.
We also offer Relaxation and Meditation
Days, which include methods such as massage, shiatsu and Alexander
Technique, providing useful tools for health and stress management.
